METHODOLOGY OF THE NOVEL
FOOD EVALUATION

The Division of Food Science of the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of The Polish Academy of Sciences having the status of the Center of Excellence is pleased to announce the international workshop. The workshop will be held in Olsztyn, Poland, from 24th April to 25th April 2003. The arrival and registration of the participants will take place on 23th April.

 

The organizers intend to bring together food specialists, such as chemists, biochemists, biologists who are interested in the problem of the novel food evaluation.

 

 The international workshop will extend 2 full days, and will include plenary lectures, posters and round table discussions.

The topics of the workshop are:

  • Progress in evaluation of the novel food (food analysis from raw material to final product).
  • Physical, chemical and biochemical analysis of food (chromatography, spectroscopic and biosensor methods).
  • Biological evaluation of food (evaluation of the mutagenic and carcinogenic Properties, animals model - critical evaluation, tissue and cell cultures in investigations of the biologically active food components).
