Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Olsztyn (IAR&FR)

is currently seeking to appoint (01.02.2012 – 31.08.2013) an Experienced Researcher (ER) in mass spectrometry. The date of employment is negotiable. The research will be focused on the application of MS in metabolomics and proteomics as well biomarkers analysis from physiological and pathological perspective. The applicant who has used AB SCIEX QTRAP 5500, Bruker MALDI-TOF (/TOF) autoflexTM speed and GC Agilent Technologies 7890 A/5975 C VL MSD before, is most preferred. The salary for this ER position is around 2200,00 EUR/month net.

Applicant is expected to be active researcher in the above mentioned area and should meet at least three of the following requirements:

1. 10 peer-reviewed publications;
2. citations in ISI and Scopus data bases;
3. invited presentation in well-established international conferences or congresses;
4. training in renowned scientific institutions;
5. experience in teaching at academic grade.

The applicant is expected to:

1. Join on-going projects at IAR&FR with new knowledge and experience;
2. Deliver lectures and seminars;
3. Participate in training of IAR&FR’s young researchers, and
4. Take part in the organisation of the Laboratory of Spectroscopic Analysis.
