Educational, training and publishing activity

Educational and publishing activity of the BIOANIREP Centre of Excellence will be based on programs and projects presented below:

  1. International research and traning programs. Within Marie Curie Host Fellowships for the Transfer of Knowledge – ToK, applications will be prepared and submitted for the following programs:

    • Marie Curie Research Training Networks
    • Marie Curie Fellowship for the Transfer of Knowledge.

  2. M.Sc. and Ph.D. studies. Since 2002, in collaboration with the Faculties of: Animal Bioengineering, Biology, Environment Protection and Fisheries, Veterinary Medicine and Food Science of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (UWM), the Institute has initiated a program of Ph.D. studies for graduates of UWM in Olsztyn.

  3. Postgraduate studies and courses.

  4. Courses and trainings for veterinarians, producers of food of animal origin, members of breeders associations under bilateral agreement with the Animals Breeding and Insemination Station in Bydgoszcz and within cooperation with its French counterpart - Union Nord Ouest Genetique (UNOG) in Lisieux.

  5. Organization of domestic and international scientific conferences in collaboration with Polish and international research societies (Society of Reproduction Biology, European Society for Domestic Animal Reproduction, Society for the Study of Reproduction, Japanese Society for Animal Reproduction).

  6. Work in Editorial Boards of renowned, international periodicals.

  7. Publishing scientific journals (Reproductive Biology, Polish Journal of Veterinary Sciences, Polish Journal of Food and Nutrition Sciences).
