We cordially invite you to watch a film prepared by Dr. Anna Horszwald who participated in TOP 500 Innovators prestigious training project. Within the framework of this program  the most eminent researchers from scientific institutions across the entire Poland took part in a training in the domain of cooperation of science with industry, research management, marketing and commercialization of research results. Realization of this project will contribute to the increase of effectiveness in the exploitation of both national and European funds for research, which in consequence will enable and enhance the transfer of B+R results to industry.

Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Olsztyn (IAR&FR)

is currently seeking to appoint (01.02.2012 – 31.08.2013) an Experienced Researcher (ER) in mass spectrometry. The date of employment is negotiable. The research will be focused on the application of MS in metabolomics and proteomics as well biomarkers analysis from physiological and pathological perspective. The applicant who has used AB SCIEX QTRAP 5500, Bruker MALDI-TOF (/TOF) autoflexTM speed and GC Agilent Technologies 7890 A/5975 C VL MSD before, is most preferred. The salary for this ER position is around 2200,00 EUR/month net.

Antonio M. Galvao publically defended his PhD

tn a_galvaoOn December 2nd, 2011 António M. Galvão presented and publically defended his PhD Thesis entitled: “New insights in the immune-endocrine regulation of equine reproduction: in vitro studies on endometrial and luteal function.” The event took place at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Technical University of Lisbon, with a committee composed by: Professor Dariusz J. Skarzynski (our Institute), Professor António Rocha (University of Porto, Abel Salazar Biomedical Institute), Professor António Freitas Duarte (Technical University of Lisbon, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine), Professor Luisa Maria Freire Mateus (Technical University of Lisbon, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine) and Professor Graça Ferreira Dias (Technical University of Lisbon, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine). Dr. Galvão obtained the European PhD degree with the highs mark (Very Good with distinction).
