Profile

The aim of the Molecular Biology Core Facility (MBCF), supported by the UE grant Modernization of integrated educational and research laboratories in the Centre of Excellence BIOANIREP, is to popularize techniques of molecular biology and implement new, innovative molecular biology methods and analysis into research approaches carried out in the Centre of Excellence BIOANIREP, national and international co-operation networks and the departments of the Institute. MBCF strives to specialize in the top scientific molecular biology techniques in order to facilitate the everyday scientific laboratory work of our staff and intensify international co-operation of the Institute.

The MBCF consists of two main work stations:

  • Workstation for protein and nucleic acid analysis and detection,
  • Workstation for cell transfection and culture.
